WHO AM I?
Red Skies is a freelance art company based in Pasadena, California. This one-man studio, owned and operated by Allen Helbig, has been in operation since 1991. Allen was raised in South Jersey where he also went to college for his BA in Art/Illustration at Rowan University. His first art job was designing t-shirts at the Jersey Shore using licensed animated characters such as The Flintstones, Ren & Stimpy, and The Looney Tunes, as well as concert t-shirts for major recording artists. He then began his 8-year run as Art Director for Warner Bros. where he directed, designed, and illustrated many publishing, music, and video game products for the major motion picture studio. He currently works as a Media Artist for Los Angeles County designing and maintaining their 5 web sites as well as doing animation, illustration, and print production.

During his professional career, Allen has worked with such incredible artists as Peter Max and Chuck Jones, and has done freelance work for such clients as Warner Bros., Walt Disney Studios, and the USPS.
